Between each step, the parts of our bodies that stay most consistently stable and grounded are our feet. We often overlook feet and how valuable they are to us. They are sensitive and offer an interesting perspective. Things look a lot bigger and fantastic from the perspective of a foot. By mounting a camera to a shoe, one can burn images between multiple steps into a single image. This work is designed to help people appreciate perspectives overlooked, the wonder of the human body and walking process, and the value of both collaboration and erasure of the division between artist and audience. We have feet. We are artists.
